It has changed me as a person because I went into my research thinking that prostitution was a really bad thing I thought it was immoral, so I was really closed minded when I began researching. I didn’t think that any other ideas were going to change my mind. While researching all the reasons for why prostitution should be legalized I found that the reasons were actually very common ideas , and I found myself agreeing with most of them. That lead me to understand some of the reasons why these women choose to take part and choose this job as their occupation. From this blog I have learned that I need to be more open-minded about things so that I can comprehend things easier.
This blog has changed me as a student because I learned that I needed to be committed to one topic that I could write about expansively, through the extent of months. I learned to research things in depth, not just google search and use the top three listings. I looked for sources online, in books, and videos . I learned to find the useful information from sources not just get the basic things. I think my writing changed as well because I learned to write things straight out like I was thinking it, but also taking the other sides into consideration. I think my writing improved from the beginning of my blog to the end of it. I also feel that I have been a bad student because I didn’t finish all my blogs on time. I was committed to finishing them on time on the beginning but towards the end I think I got lazy. But I think I did a good job at finishing all my blogs.

FINAL REFLECTION
Throughout the coarse of the year I have learned a lot by writing this blog. I can honestly say that the research I have done has changed me as a person and a student.
RHETORICAL ANALYSIS
There is one state in the United States that has taken the initiative to legalize prostitution, it’s Nevada. But one of it’s senators has taken it upon himself to try and make this occupation illegal again in the state of Nevada and it’s eleven counties. I read a news paper article on how Senator Harry Reid would like prostitution to be illegal in the state on Nevada. This story is credible because it is written on an online news paper, it’s also about a credible person because it is written about is a United States senator. The purpose of this article is to inform people about what this senator plans to do. I think that the other purpose is to get the public’s opinion on this topic, because they want to know what should be done. This article also critiques Senator Reid’s opinion. This article is written pretty straight forward so that most readers are able to understand this. I agree with those who critique senator Reid’s opinion because I do believe that prostitution helps Nevada increase it’s revenue. Since this state does have one of the highest unemployment rates I think they have to leave the option that people can take this occupation. I’m not saying they should promote prostitution or anything, but if people have been making a living on this occupation for so long they shouldn't make it illegal overnight. In this article the Governor of Nevada said, “It’s up to the counties to decide if they want it or not”. I agree but people should have a vote one this because in some areas of the state it’s very important because that’s how a lot of people make a living. Overall a do understand why senator Reid feels prostitution is immoral, but why should you make it illegal now, if it’s legalization has been implemented for so long.
